I firmly believe that podcast listeners are more densely populated with a higher level of intellect and much more likely to be "investment capable", rather than just looking for entertainment and "video surfing" the web types. As most Youtubers offer great numbers, the actual base of what projects are looking to attract is much smaller than what you will see from podcast listeners. Results vary, but I have heard nothing but great things from all of my interviewees and their related projects. Based on the analytics that I can gleem from the Anchor Podcast app, I have close to 200 listens per show within the first week of a show's publication, then after that a trickling of up 1200 to 2000 in a month's time. All shows are continuously caught on Search Engine results based on the keyword structuring from then on out after the show is published. I also contribute a Publish0x or Medium article about the project. I also distribute the show and publication on my Twitter and Facebook feeds as well as help promote the project and the interview for 2 weeks or longer. We are hosted on every possible outlet, like Apple, Google and Spotify. Not to mention 9 others. My show is simplistic, open, and meant to be fun and engaging. Not your typical talk and ramble, but humorous and snappy. Guests are welcome to pick three songs for a one hour show, or just engage with me for a Q&A for however long that can be handled and kept interesting.
