Description
A solid understanding of Emotional Intelligence is necessary because it will help you to recognize your emotions, reactions, feelings and most of all your behavior. Life typically comes at us through a series of events that generate emotions that give rise to feelings that determine our present reality. Emotional Intelligence ~ A Vital Key to Improving Your Life. There are certain situations in life when you take a step back and realize that what you’re doing is not working. For instance if someone gets upset and raises their voice in frustration, embarrassment or even fear, it doesn’t help to answer them by raising your voice to match their level, thereby escalating the situation instead of diffusing it. I have learned that there are *Five Key concepts that are key to personal development. when all of these are implemented into your life, it brings with it a strong emotional intelligence quotient. I always thought that IQ (intelligence quotient) was the only “Quotient", and it was enough to know that, in my opinion, I was ‘above average’. Well, surprise surprise, I didn’t know what I didn’t know! There are other quotients that we need to know about, and it is a very helpful bit of wisdom to be conscious of yours, and purposefully work on improving them. What I’m talking about is EQ (emotional Quotient) and AQ (Adversity Quotient). I wished I had known this earlier in life.
