Screenwriting: Professional Editing and Proofreading
Description
From one screenwriter to another: I know your pain! I know what it's like to have to re-read 120 pages of a script - yet again - hunting for formatting mistakes and misspelled words. I've been there, too. Way too many times - for writing competitions or submissions to agents.
I have a background in screenplays and scripts, from full-length features to TV pilots. I come out of UCLA's film program, and I've won or placed in writing competitions from Cannes to London, New York to Los Angeles.
I will edit and proofread your script for formatting errors, misspelling, and consistency. If you want me to, I will read as well for plot holes in the story, and overall story structure and offer suggestions.
What will you get?
I work in Final Draft 11.
You will receive two documents:
A Final Draft (.fdx) file, edited in Revision mode so that you can see changes.
A Text (.txt) or Rich Text (.rtf) file that you can import into other screenwriting programs, if you're not using Final Draft. (Your choice)
If requested, I will provide a PDF as well.
Scripts up to 30 pages = $25
Scripts up to 120 pages = $75
Over 120 pages = add $1 per page.
