Meet Sayema, The graphic designer behind Tahmida

Sayema is a Bangladeshi graphic designer who makes her living entirely from her work through the AnyTask Platform.

At just 22 years old she is her own boss, is able to provide for herself, and has now sold more than 600 tasks as a freelancer.

How it all began

Bangladesh has a youth unemployment rate of 10.6%. More than a third of the population lives in poverty and over half are unbanked. Against this backdrop, Sayema decided that freelancing was a way to earn a good income on her own terms, and as her own boss.

Why the AnyTask™ Platform?

Sayema had previously tried other platforms like Fiverr or Upwork, but has found AnyTask.com much easier to use. She particularly appreciates that AnyTask.com charges its Sellers zero fees or commission.

“AnyTask has changed my life, and I am just darn excited to see where it takes me,” Sayema said. “It was easy. I created my AnyTask profile and created several tasks eight months ago. Now, I have completed several tasks and have had great experiences. I have also continued to increase my graphic design skills.”

The platform was built for exactly this kind of story: offering opportunities to those in the developing world to sell their skills on the global digital marketplace. The sky’s the limit for Sayema - AnyTask ID: Tahmida - she has an average review score of 4.9 and a growing list of very satisfied customers.
