You have a great idea for a board game, and you wish to share it with the world! I love board games, and I want to help you bring your game to life!
What I have to offer:
Writing rules for games is challenging and time-consuming. Writing rules that are clear and unambiguous, even more so. I will proofread and critique your board game rules. I will be your second pair of eyes, to spot and point out any errors you may have unknowingly committed or overlooked.
How I will help you:
I will look at all your rules and components and correct typos and grammatical errors. On top of that, I will highlight and provide suggestions for rules that are unclear or ambiguous so that you may clarify them, and subsequently edit it to be clear and comprehensive.

Having worked with board game designers, I understand the struggle of having all your rules challenged when play-testing. I wish to save you some time by helping you make your rules as clear as possible, ensuring play-tests go smoothly.
Should you require further edits of your rules down the road, I will also be available for follow-up proofreading and critique (at customised, lower rates).
What will you get?
I will deliver an edited word document file (docx) with comments included. I can also put it online in the form of a Google Document.
Comments will be made up of reasons for the edits I made, suggestions on layout, as well as professional advice on the content based on my own experience working on board games.
